Field Hockey Blanked By Fitchburg State

Leicester, Mass- Fitchburg State got two goals from Jamie Kelley (Pepperell, Mass), as the Falcons defeated Becker College 3-0 in women's field hockey action.

The Falcons got their first goal from Mari Roma (Foxborough, Mass) off of a penalty corner; which was set up by Eleni Aidonidis (Winchendon, Mass) and Hillary O'Kelly (E.Bridgewater, Mass).

Fitchburg State broke the game open in the second half, when Jamie Kelly scored one of her two goals off a rebound in front, making the score 2-0. Kelly added her second goal of the game on a feed from Megan Jacobs (Stoughton, Mass), giving the Falcons the 3-0 victory.

Fitchburg goalkeeper Taylor Van Ahnen (Seekonk, Mass) made on save to earn the win. The Falcons improved to 12-4 overall.
Becker goalkeeper Nakita Gosselin (Springfield, VT) made three saves in a losing effort. The Hawks fell to 11-8 on the season.
