Hawks Earn Four Seed In ECAC Tournament


Leicester, Mass.- The men's basketball team has earned the #4 seed in the 2008-09 ECAC tournament. The Hawks with host the 5th seeded Rams of Framingham State (15-12) on Wednesday night at 7PM. This will mark the first time a Becker College basketball team has earned a spot in the ECAC tournament. The last time Becker played Framingham State was on February 16, 2002, as Becker fell to Framingham 69-57. Framingham State is led by junior forward Josue Almodovar. Almodovar has scored 506 points and pulled down 244 rebounds. Becker will be looking for New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year Travis Suber to help guide the Hawks past the Rams.
