Men's Basketball Soars Past Lesley
Leicester, Mass.- Becker had three players in double figures, as the Hawks defeated Lesley University 77-38 in men's basketball action.
Becker held the Lynx to just 10 first half points, forcing 21 turnovers. Terrance Favors (Boston, Mass.) scored 15 points to lead the Hawks to a 29 point halftime advantage.
The 2nd half was much of the same, as the Hawks continued to capitalize on Lesley turnovers. Trey Jacobs (Lexington Park, MD) scored 16 of his game high 18 points in the 2nd half. DeJohn Exum (New London, Conn.) added 16 points in the winning effort. The Hawks improved to 7-4 overall and 1-1 in the New England Collegiate Conference. Jonathan Cruz (Haverhill, Mass.) led the Lynx with 12 points in a losing effort. Lesley fell to 3-8 overall and 0-1 in the New England Collegiate Conference.
