Men's Soccer Gets Back On Track

Boston, Mass - The Becker College Hawks defeated the Emerson College Lions in a 2-1 men's soccer match tonight at Rotch Field. Jonn Carr., (Glasgow, Scotland) scored the first goal for Emerson 2:14 into the first half with an assist from Eric Dabdoub (Monterrey, Mexico).  Timothy Howard ( Paxton, Mass.) responded with a goal at 13:31 on a scramble of the corner. Dircilino DeBrito (New Bedford, Mass.) scored the game winning goal on a straight away, unassisted.  Emerson was unable to respond. The Lions made 17 shots with four on goal and one assist.  The Hawks shot 13 times, seven on goal, with no assists. Both goalkeepers played the full ninety minutes.  Becker goalkeeper Aaron Fill (Ladner, B.C.) had three saves versus five saves by Emerson goalkeeper Nick Strauss (Norwood, Mass.).
