Nashua, N.H. - The Daniel Webster College women's basketball team dropped a tight, 72-68 decision to visiting Becker College Saturday in a New England Collegiate Conference matchup.

The senior duo of Beth Pion (Enfield, Conn.) and Rachel Pinak (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) combined for 44 points as the Hawks (6-6, 2-2 NECC) halted a two-game skid. Pion notched a game high 23 points and added ne rebounds, while Pinak hit for 21 points. Heidi Miller added 11 points and seven boards off the bench.
