Hawks Scorched By Blazers

Leicester, Mass. - Elms College senior forward Krystyna Gagne (Methuen, Mass.) had a career day scoring five goals to lead the Blazers to a 5-1 win over New England Collegiate Conference rival Becker College in women's soccer action today at Alumni Field.
With the win the Blazers improve to 8-7-1 (6-1-1 NECC) and the Hawks drop to 8-7 (3-3 NECC).
Gagne had a natural hat trick scoring the first three goals of the game all unassisted.
Becker cut the lead to 3-1 at the 68th minute on an unassisted tally by sophomore forward Alexandra Fernandes (Tucson, AZ).
The Blazers just proved to be too much with Gagne connecting on two corner kicks from freshman midfielder Nicole Wynne (Hanson, Mass.) late in the game to make the final 5-1.
Elms' goalkeeper Molly Corse (Bernardston, Mass.) had seven saves in the win. Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass.) had five saves for the Hawks in seventy minutes of play.
