Women's Soccer Blinded By Beacons

Leicester, Mass-  UMass Boston scored three, second half goals in route to a 3-0 win over Becker College in non-conference women's soccer action.

The Beacons got things started 58:26 into the game, when Molly Kuchar (Ashville, NC) scored on a direct kick.  UMass went up 2-0, when Becker scored an own goal. The Beacons put the game out of reach, when Tina Gillen (Carver, Mass) headed a corner kick past the grasp of Becker goalkeeper Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass).

Michelle Cain (Essex, Mass) made four saves to earn the victory. The Beacons improved to 7-2 on the season.

Shannon Tibbetts made four saves in a losing effort. The Hawks fell to 5-3 overall.
