Women's Soccer Claws Past Rivier

Leicester, Mass- Becker College defeated Rivier College 1-0 in non-conference women's soccer action.

The Hawks scored the lone goal of the game at 6:17 of the first half, when Catherine Millette (Columbia, Conn) made a beautiful centering pass to Alena Phongsa (Putnam, Conn) for her first goal of the season.

Rivier goalkeeper Karina Arnold (New London, NH) made two saves in the loss. The Raiders fell to 3-7-2 on the season.

Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass) made four saves, for her fifth shutout of the season. Becker improved to 8-5 overall.
