LEICESTER, Mass.- Head football coach Mike Lichten was named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Coach of the Year. Lichten helped guide the Hawks to their highest win total in program history while breaking 46 different records along the way.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Board of Directors has announced that Becker College will be joining the CCC as an associate member in the sport of football for the 2017 season. In the fall of 2017, the CCC will begin to oversee football as a championship sport and will assume operation of a renamed New England Football Conference (NEFC).

LEICESTER, Mass.- On a day when Becker College football paid tribute to one of the largest graduating classes the Hawks’ steamrolled the Gallaudet Bison 58-6 in Eastern Collegiate Football Conference play for their fifth win of the season on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. It’s the second straight win for Becker and extended the Hawks (5-3, 3-2 ECFC) home win streak to five games dating back to last season. The Bison fall to 0-7 on the year and 0-5 in conference play.

LEICESTER, Mass.- Junior running back Jacob Holmes was named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Holmes had a career day for the Hawks, setting or tying eight program records in leading Becker to a 37-26 win over MIT.
FITCHBURG, Mass.– The Fitchburg State football team opened its 2015 season this evening under the lights at Elliot Field as they defeated Becker College, 42-25. Junior quarterback Garrett Dellechiaie led the Falcons offense as he threw for 232 yards on 21 completions, while finishing with four passing touchdowns and another on the ground.
