LEICESTER, Mass.- Becker College Director of Athletics Frank Millerick has announced the removal of the interim tag from newly appointed head football coach Frank Forcucci.
"I am truly excited to remove "Interim" from Frank Forcucci's title", said Millerick. "He is now officially the Head Football Coach at Becker College. It was evident from the start that the most qualified person to fill the role at Becker was already on campus. His many years of college football coaching experience set him apart. During his four-week tenure as the interim head coach, Frank quickly exhibited the strong leadership skills that are expected of someone in this position. I know that he is the right leader for future of the Becker Hawks football program."
Forcucci spent the last three seasons as Becker's Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator.
Forcucci brings more than twenty four years of coaching experience to Becker College. Prior to his arrival in Leicester, Forcucci coached throughout the Northeast, including at the University of Massachusetts, Central Connecticut State University, Fordham University and Northeastern University.
"I would like to thank President Robert Johnson and Frank Millerick for the opportunity to lead the Becker College football program", said Forcucci. "I look forward to building a program that will develop our student-athletes to be successful in the classroom and on the field; a program that will provide leadership on campus and in the community, with and a strong connection to the alumni of which the entire Becker College community will proud."
