Three Hawks earn All-WACBA Honors

LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Worcester Area Collegiate Basketball Association (WACBA) released their 2019 All-WACBA Teams on Wednesday, with two Hawks from the women's basketball team and one from the men's basketball team being honorees for their outstanding accomplishments.

Senior guard Kareem Davis (Lowell, Mass. / St. John's) was voted All-WACBA first team for the second straight year after a season in which he became Becker's all-time leading scorer for the NCAA era with 1876 career points. The senior team captain, who led the WACBA in scoring, was also named All-NECC first team for the second straight season.

Senior forward Adrianna Dowdy (East Haven, Conn. / Hill Regional) concluded her storied career with the Becker women's basketball program with being named to the All-WACBA First Team after leading the Hawks back to the NECC finals. Dowdy averaged 11.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, and in the process became Becker's all-time leading rebounder with 1032. Dowdy further became just the eighth player in the history of the program to reach the 1000 career point club. The senior team captain makes the All-WACBA team for the third straight year, making the first team for the first time.

Junior guard Cassidy Harrison (Foxborough, Mass. / Foxborough) was named to the All-WACBA team for the third time in three seasons, as she was voted to the second team. Harrison led the Hawks with 14.6 points per game, along with 2.7 steals. Harrison became the seventh player in the history of the program to reach 1000 points for her career.
