MILTON, Mass. --- The Becker College men's soccer team lost 2-1 at Curry College on Wednesday evening at Walter M. Katz Field in Milton, Massachusetts.

SCORING SUMMARY

  • Curry senior midfielder Brandon Rinaldi (Bethlehem, Conn. / Worcester Academy) got the scoring started in the 38th minute with unassisted strike to put the Colonels ahead, 1-0.
  • Becker found the equalizer in the 54th minute when sophomore forward Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, Mass. / Springfield Renaissance) took a pass from freshman midfielder Haendel Louhis (Easton, Mass. / Oliver Ames) and sent it home for his third goal of the season to knot it at 1-1 for the Hawks.
  • The hosts finally put the game away in the 82nd minute when Curry senior midfielder Ali Pungi (Kinshasa, Congo / Jewels International) scored a solo goal to give the Coloenls a 2-1 lead that would hold up for the final score.

FOR THE HAWKS

  • Junior goalkeeper Sam Majewski (Warren, Mass. / Quaboag Regional Middle) posted seven saves in net to lead the Hawks.
  • McCaskill paced the offense with five of Becker's ten shots.

FOR THE COLONELS

  • Senior goalkeeper Paul DeMaio (North Andover, Mass. / North Andover) posted the win for Curry, totaling three saves.
  • Curry outshot Becker, 23-10 on the night.
