QUINCY, Mass. --- The Becker College men's soccer team lost 1-0 at Eastern Nazarene College on Friday evening in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action at Creedon Field in Quincy.

SCORING SUMMARY

  • After a scoreless first half, Eastern Nazarene finally struck in the 51st minute when junior forward Charlie Swann (London, England / Coopers Technology / Massasoit CC) found the back of the net for his team-leading ninth goal of the season, assisted by freshman defender Carlos Moya (Oviedo, Spain / Alfonso II) to put the Lions ahead 1-0.

FOR THE HAWKS

  • Becker junior goalkeeper Sam Majewski (Warren, Mass. / Quaboag Regional Middle) turned in a strong performance in net for the Hawks, tallying six saves on the night.
  • Sophomore forward Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, Mass. / Springfield Renaissance), junior forward Colby Koch (Norfolk, Mass. / King Philip Regional) and sophomore midfielder Seidon Nemeth (St. Thomas, Virgin Islands / Niwot) posted two shots each for Becker.

FOR THE LIONS

  • Sophomore goalkeeper Tyler Ferreira (Berkley, Mass. / Somerset Berkley) earned the shutout win with three saves in net for Eastern Nazarene.
  • Eastern Nazarene outshot Becker, 22-9.
