Nelson nets four as Women's Lacrosse soars past Cyclones

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. --- The Becker College women's lacrosse team opened their 2019 schedule with a resounding 18-2 victory at Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

• Junior midfielder Cassandra Nelson (Exeter, N.H. / Exeter) tallied a game-high four goals on the day for the Hawks.
• Sophomore attacker Arianna Calouro (East Providence, R.I. / East Providence) finished with two goals and two assists.
• Freshman attacker Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, N.H. / Oyster River) recorded two goals, including the eventual game-winner, along with one assist.
• Junior midfielder Samantha Carter (Boothbay Harbor, Maine / Boothbay Region), freshman attacker Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass. / Billerica Memorial) and freshman attacker Shannon Siclari (West Haven, Conn. / West Haven) each finished with two goals on the day.
• Other goal scorers for the Hawks included junior attacker Samantha D'Auteuil (Columbia, Conn. / Bolton), freshman attacker Briana Lancia (Cheshire, Mass. / Hoosac Valley), sophomore defender Katherine Capobianco (North Andover, Mass. / North Andover) and sophomore attacker Kayla Hanley (Franklin, Mass. / Franklin).
• Senior goalkeeper Nikolle Storey (Cumberland, Maine / Kents Hill) finished with four saves in net.

The Hawks are back on the field on Saturday when they travel to Emerson College for a 7:00 p.m. game.
