LEICESTER, Mass. --- Sophomore Lindsey Keith (Sutton, Mass. / Sutton) scored a career-high five goals as the Becker College women's soccer team won 7-6 at Fisher College on Thursday night in Medford Massachusetts.
The Hawks of Becker run their record to 3-1 to start the season while the host Falcons of Fisher are now 1-3 overall.
Becker jumped out to a 3-1 lead before Fisher tied it just before halftime. In the second period, the Hawks took a commanding 7-4 advantage before the Falcons rallied with two goals scored in the final two minutes. Becker finally held off the late charge to preserve the win.
Keith, who entered the day as the reigning Becker Student-Athlete of the Week and was ranked tenth in the country in points, now has eight goals and five assists in just four games.
It was the highest-scoring game Becker had played in since the start of the 2012 season.
Becker is back on the field on Saturday when they host Dean College at 11:00 a.m.
