Women's Volleyball succumbs to Framingham State

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. --- The Becker College women's volleyball team lost in straight sets at Framingham State University on Tuesday night at the Athletic Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.

FOR THE HAWKS

  • Senior right side Morgan Gould (North Attleboro, Mass. / Tri-County) led Becker with six kills, 19 digs and two service aces, all team-highs.
  • Sophomore libero Joanna Bampi (Peabody, Mass. / Peabody Veterans) posted 17 digs in a strong defensive effort.
  • Senior outside hitter Sofia Cullina (Deep River, Conn. / Valley Regional) tallied four kills and five digs.
  • Freshman middle blocker Ariana Gordon (Brockton, Mass. / West Roxbury Academy) added three kills and two solo blocks.

FOR THE RAMS

  • Sophomore outside hitter Brandee Thomas (North Kingstown, R.I. / North Kingstown) led Framingham State with 14 kills and 12 digs. 
  • Freshman middle hitter Hailey Sanders (Franklin, Mass. / Franklin) tallied eight kills and six total blocks.
  • Junior setter Morgan Failla (Providence, R.I. / Classical) setup the offense with 32 set assists, adding seven digs.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the court on Thursday at Nichols College. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
