Gordon, Flynn lead Women's Volleyball past Wildcats

LEICESTER, Mass. --- Freshman middle blocker Ariana Gordon (Brockton, Mass. / West Roxbury Academy) posted eight kills as the Becker College women's volleyball team swept all three sets on Saturday at Bay Path University at the First Baptist Gymnasium in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

FOR THE HAWKS

  • Gordon posted arguably her best performance of her young career at Becker, with eight kills, a solo block, a service ace and three digs along with a .375 hitting percentage.
  • Freshman outside hitter Teddie Flynn (Amesbury, Mass. / Essex Tech) posted her best hitting percentage since the season opener, with a .375 mark off seven kills. She also added nine digs and two service aces.
  • Sophomore libero Joanna Bampi (Peabody, Mass. / Peabody Veterans) posted 19 digs to lead the Hawks' defense.
  • Senior setter Morgan Gould (North Attleboro, Mass. / Tri-County) set up the offense with 15 set assists, 11 digs, three kills and one ace.

FOR THE WILDCATS

  • Bay Path freshman outside hitter Marissa Courchesne (Belchertown, Mass. / Belchertown) led the Wildcats with six kills, 13 digs and two service aces.
  • Freshman outside hitter Delaney Ivas (Adams, Mass. / Taconic) posted six kills, ten digs and two block assists.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the court on Tuesday when they host Dean College in a 7:00 p.m. match.
